Mickey Mantle
Mickey Mantle is one of the most admired baseball players to ever play the game. In his 18 year career Mickey Mantle hit 536 homeruns. He won 3 MVP's and in 1956 he hit for the Triple Crown. Probably the greatest photo ever taken of Mantle was taken by Rhode Island photographer Ray Gallo of Mickey Mantle at Fenway Park during that Triple Crown Year of 1956. Mickey Mantle himself said that this photo was the best photo ever taken of him. As seen above we have this photo off the original negative in Black and White. A very rare photo off the original negative the photo has a corporate seal from Gallo who passed away right after Mantle did. It is signed by Mickey Mantle in silver with the inscription 1956. This comes with a photo of Mantle signing the picture from a private signing done on November 30, 1992. Mantle was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1974 and passed away over a decade ago in 1995.
